Recent License Changes: Solar Maid has recently changed it's license program to meet the specific needs of the solar industry and our long term growth model. All licensed Solar Maid operators signed on before June 30, 2010 will continue to operate under the specific terms and conditions set forth in their original contract. All new licensed operators will be subject to the new terms and conditions. The biggest change in our system is the elimination of "scaled" license options, from this date forward, there will be one license option for each remaining territory. The license pricing for each territory has been set based on current and near future viability for Solar Maid services. Territory license prices range between $2,995.00 and 16,995.00 TERRITORIES/ PRICING in addition to the license each operator will be outfitted with all the essential tools and instruction for setting up and running a successful Solar Maid operation.

No Hidden Fees:  We pride ourselves on the transparent nature of our pricing structure. The upfront cost is the license fee for your chosen territory and the only additional fees required under the Solar Maid contract are the annual license renewal fee of $395.00 and the product purchase requirements of $120.00 each year.(These fees only apply after first full year of operation) Only one other fee applies for administration support when Solar Maid headquarters is asked to quote & support multiple or large asset contracts, this fee is only 2% of total project cost, which is built into the intial quote and only payable once the customer pays you. All Solar Maid territory licenses are exclusive and no other Solar Maid operators will be permitted to provide Solar Maid services within your territory.

Basic Requirements: All potential new operators will be subject to a short phone interview to determine if they are viable and qualified to join the Solar Maid family. Each new operator will be required to have the state minimum of liability insurance before starting their operation. Access to a small pickup truck or service van and at least one 20 foot ladder will be required. New operators looking to work large scale utility projects will need to have access to additional laborers when needed to complete these large contracts. Additional requirements include a good work ethic, basic business accumen and the true desire to help us build a world class organization. No previous expericence or technical apptiude required, Solar Maid will provide all the nessecery knowledge to run, operate and succeed in this business.

Solar Maid Support: Solar Maid provides service on all residential, commercial and utiltiy scale solar systems, but our main focus is on the commercial and utiltiy scale projects, where we will act as the key solicitor of these contracts. The marketing efforts of Solar Maid HQ are to develop contracts for all of our operators from within the fast growing solar asset marketplace. All leads developed through the efforts of our home office are distributed to the Solar Maid operator licensed in that territory. There are no fees for supplied leads and they will be developed on your behalf for as long as you continue to hold a territory license. All licensed territory operators have access to technical support 24/7/365 and deep discounts on all solar cleaning and maintenance equipment and services. Solar Maid is not a franchise and you are never forced to operate your business under the strict giudelines that come with franchise contracts, but our precise business operation has been developed for success and the operator support program is second to none. Your success is a reflection of the entire company, so we strive for perfection everytime.

The Process: Becoming a Solar Maid operator is a seemless process designed to have you servicing solar maintenance contracts in a very short period of time. The first step is to determine if the territory you're interested in is available. AVAILABLE TERRITORIES Step two is to set up a phone interview with the Solar Maid General Manager jay@solarmaid.org or call 412 403-9540 M-F 9-5 Est. Please read through both Solar Maid web sites www.solarmaid.org ( Our service & product site) and www.mygreenscene.com/thesolarmaidcompany (Our business opportunity site) also the sample contract and the Solar Maid terms and conditions of operations DISCLOSURE (Please submit any questions prior to scheduling a phone interview) Anyone requesting a phone interview acknowldges that they have read through all of these items and agree and fully understand how Solar Maid operates. After the interview, if invited to join the Solar Maid family, you'll be given the payment options and details. After payment for the license is received and cleared, we will begin developing your Solar Maid Business Package. BUSINESS PACKAGE  This development process takes about 3 weeks plus 1 week for delivery, international locations should plan for 2 additional weeks. After receiving your package you should plan to study the entire operations manual and other materials for about two weeks. We will be developing your new web site and email account during this period as well as taking action on the market plan designed for your specific territory. You can go from here to fully operational Solar Maid Business in about 1 month.

The License: Each Solar Maid territory license is priced according to service prospects for that territory. If you did not see your territory listed, it means the territory is not currently available or does not meet the minimum level for potential service set by Solar Maid. The Solar Maid license entitles the holder to unrestricted business use of the Solar Maid trademarks and all the Solar Maid brand benefits including discounted products and services available for resale within your territory. The intitial license fee covers the cost of all the materials included with the Solar Maid Business Package, unlimited leads, 24/7/365 technical support and complete territory marketing. A small license renewal fee will apply every year following your first year of operation and will be billed every 12th month.
